New York Cheesecake dessert

Ingredients recipe

 2 pounds cream cheese
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
6 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup white sugar


Directions of recipe

1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).

2.Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar together. Press mixture onto the bottom of one 9 or 10 inch springform pan. Place in freezer for 10 minutes.

3.Cream 3/4 cup of the sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and cornstarch until just mixed. Stir in sour cream until blended. Pour into prepared crust.

4.Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Turn oven off and leave cake in oven with the door ajar for 3 hours. Serve with your favorite topping.

Polly Welby's Excellent Chocolate Mousse dessert

 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate
10 fluid ounces heavy cream


Directions of recipe

1.Chop chocolate and place in top of a double boiler, or in a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate until melted. Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth. Allow to cool slightly.

2.Whip cream in large bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks barely form.

3.Fold chocolate into cream and spoon into serving dishes. Chill 30 minutes in refrigerator, until set.

Swedish Apple Pie Dessert



Ingredients recipe

4 -5 medium apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
1 1/4 cups sugar (divided)
3 teaspoons cinnamon
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine
1 cup flour
1 egg



Directions of recipe

1.Preheat oven to 350.

2.Fill pie pan 3/4 full with apples.

3.Mix 1/4 cup sugar and 3 tsp cinnamon.

4.Sprinkle over apples.

5.In saucepan, melt butter and remove from heat.

6.Add remaining ingredients (including the 1 cup of sugar remaining).

7.Pour evenly over the apples in pan.

8.Bake 45 minutes.
